Use this page to enter courses that you recommend the student take next year based on the student's progress in your course. Counselors can review course recommendations and can create course requests for selected recommendations. You can use the Priority field to prioritize recommendations for consideration.
The number of recommendations that you can make per student is determined by your building administrator. The limit is specified above the list of students. Additionally, you may be limited to entering recommendations for courses that are offered by the same department as the course you are teaching.

|   | First, enter a check in the Delete box for recommendation records you want to delete. Then, click  to remove the records. |

The Course Recommendations page lists students who have mark reporting records for your course-section. You can enter recommendations for only the courses you teach that receive report card marks. If the list of students is not correct, contact an administrator to have the Scheduling Synchronization run in eSchoolPLUS.

            Name of the student. Click on a student's name to open their Student Details drawer.

            If there are alerts for the student, the alert icons display in this column.

            Building the course is offered in. Recommendations are always entered for the student's next building.
 Course
Course
            Select the course you want to recommend for the student. Click the cell to open the entry field so you can enter a course number. You can also click the button next to this field to open the Course Chooser pop-up to help you select the appropriate course. Your building configuration determines whether you can add recommendations for courses in any department or only for courses offered in your department.
You are entering course recommendations for courses for the student's next building. The courses available for a student may be different, if the student will attend a different building from the next building of other students in your class.

            Enter a priority to indicate how recommendations should be considered. You can assign multiple courses the same priority.

            If multiple recommendations are enabled, you can click the Add link to open an additional row for the student.

            Check to mark a course for deletion. Click  on toolbar to delete checked courses.
